Dolphin Watching at Palawan

Palawan is an island located in the Visayas Region of the Philippines. It is well known for its nature beauty and beaches. Its not really that hard to go in Palawan since they have their own Airport. So theres not a much of those twist and turns.
When we arrived there, it is not really a hassle since you will then be welcomed by a bunch of tourist guide. Or you can contact a tourist guide. Ours is really great and very kind. So if you want, I can give you his contact number. =D
Actually, we have a lot of stops in this vacation. One of this is the Dolphin Watching. We were lucky because when we went to Palawan, Dolphin Watching was just newly found by another tourist guide. It is a really long travel by boat just to get to the location of where the dolphins play. A bit of a rough ride because on the middle of the trip, we have encounter big waves. They say that it is really a normal thing when you travel there, I don't know why. And after those big waves, here comes these small once and try to get into the action. But not to worry. These small waves cant do any harm. It is actually a sign of relief because it states that you will now have a clean and smooth sail and near the dolphins.
So after a 2 hour sail, here comes the dolphins!! I must say that they come in huge group. Once they come out, it is like the most wonderful thing. We have to ready our camera because they are very hard to chase. I think they don't like us to take pictures with them.. hmm, a bit shy dolphins I presume. But not to worry, our boat is fast enough to cope up with the tagging. I did actually get some good pictures with them. How I wish to swim with them a touch them, but I'm holding a camera so... But sooner, our fuel is coming low. So our captain suggest that we will just wait for them to come to us. Which is a pretty much good idea.
This dolphins are actually giving a help to those fisherman. Once they come out, that means there are fish in that area. So the fishermen quickly goes to where the dolphins are. We did bought a small tuna fish for only 50 pesos.
They also say that a lucky tourist once saw a whale shark in the area. They got confused when they saw this huge thing on the bottom of the sea. So they quickly plunge into the sea and there it was, the beautiful whale shark. Lucky tourist, how I wish we did see one.
It is a great experience watching those untamed dolphins. And it is actually my first time watching those dolphins in the open sea. A fun and exciting thing to do, and I definitely recommend for a you to take a visit.
